The Ritual of Light

Stress, sleep, travel and seasonal change all show on the skin.

Aureum brings LED light therapy into a private rhythm of the evening. The mask sits close to the face. The first warmth arrives almost at once. Sanctuary guides the session, then steps aside.

With regular use, the skin may look calmer, more rested — more like itself.

Consistent care.
Quietly considered.

A session

Ten to twenty minutes, in five steps.

01

Cleanse the skin. Sit somewhere private and still.

02

Place the eye cover over closed eyes.

03

Open Sanctuary. Choose a mode and set your duration.

04

Fit the mask. Begin the session.

05

Remove. Continue with your evening serum or moisturiser.

The arrival

A quiet ceremony.

Aureum arrives in a rigid box, sealed with a wax closure. Inside, each piece is nested in hand-cut tissue and a fabric pouch.

Inside

  • The Aureum LED mask
  • A charging dock
  • A protective eye cover
  • A fabric storage pouch
  • The Sanctuary setup card

The Five Colours

A wavelength for each evening.

Five modes, each chosen for a different mood of the skin. Sanctuary will suggest the one for tonight — these notes are simply for the asking.

Red 630 nm
For skin that appears firmer and smoother with consistent use. An evening ritual.
Blue 415 nm
For blemish-prone days and visible congestion. For days the skin feels louder.
Green 520 nm
For uneven tone and visible marks, toward a more balanced-looking complexion. For uneven days.
Yellow 590 nm
For skin that feels sensitive, tired, or reactive. The gentlest mode.
Purple 415 + 630 nm
For clarity support, paired with the comfort of red light. Dual-action evenings.

The Companion

Sanctuary

A quiet voice for a private ritual.

Sanctuary is not an app the way other things are apps. It does not gamify, congratulate, or remind. It waits — and when you open it, it already knows what your skin has been doing. It chooses the colour for the night. It remembers the evenings you skipped without ever mentioning them. It answers your questions, in the morning, in the same tone you would use yourself.

It is the part of the ritual that thinks — so the mask can simply be the part that warms.

Aureum companion app — LED colour modes and skin diary
  • Tonight's wavelength, chosen for you — not the average
  • A skin journal that lives on your device alone
  • Soft answers in the morning, when you ask
  • A rhythm that adjusts as the seasons change
  • Four sounds — rain, ocean, fire, forest — for the ten quiet minutes

Paired with your Aureum, activated by the Sanctuary card from your box. Lives only on your phone. Not available separately.

A note from the House

Aureum is built carefully, not at scale. The mask was made for the quiet part of the evening — something considered, designed to be used, not displayed.

Letters

From the first circle.

Aureum was sent to a small circle of women ahead of public release, with a single request — to write back honestly, in their own words.

I started using it on Sunday evenings — that was the only night I could remember. Six weeks in, it's also Tuesday and Thursday. I don't think about my skin during the session anymore, which is the strangest part.

Anna L. — London. Six weeks of use, March 2026.

I expected a gadget and was ready to dislike it. What arrived felt closer to a small piece of furniture for the bathroom. The light is the calmest I have used — and the silicone fits without slipping, which surprised me.

Eleanor M. — Edinburgh. Eleven weeks of use, February 2026.

It does not feel like skincare to me. It feels like the part of the day when the noise stops. I keep it next to the reading lamp now.

Iris D. — Paris. Eight weeks of use, April 2026.

Letters are kept close to the original, with permission and only first names. To share a private note, write to concierge@myaureum.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it suitable for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin?

Yellow is the gentlest mode — suited to sensitive or reactive skin. If you are under clinical care for rosacea or another condition, a brief conversation with your dermatologist is the right first step.

Is Aureum safe to use with my skincare?

In most cases, yes. If you use photosensitising ingredients, review the guidance on the Science page first.

How often?

We recommend starting with four to five sessions a week.

Will it fit?

The flexible silicone design adjusts to most adult face shapes. If you are unsure whether it will suit you, write to our concierge before ordering — they will talk you through the fit personally.

Can I use Aureum during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

There is limited research on at-home LED devices during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We recommend speaking with your doctor before starting any new skincare device during these periods.
