Privacy

Aureum London (AUREUM LTD, registered in England and Wales) takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. It applies to data collected via this website and was last reviewed in June 2026.

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect the information necessary to process and deliver it: your name, delivery address, email address, and phone number. We do not store payment card details — these are handled entirely by our payment processor.

If you write to us by email, we retain that correspondence for the purpose of responding and keeping a record of the exchange.

Payment processing

Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider operating under its own privacy policy and security certification. Your card credentials are not seen or stored by Aureum.

How we use your data, and our lawful basis

We use your personal data to fulfil and deliver your order, communicate with you about that order, and respond to any concierge enquiries you send us. Our lawful basis for this is the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running the business and answering your enquiries.

We do not profile you, make automated decisions about you, or sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Waitlist and marketing emails

If you join our waitlist or ask us to keep you informed, we use your email address to send you occasional updates about Aureum — for example, when a batch opens. Our lawful basis for this is your consent, given when you submit your email. You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email, or by writing to concierge@myaureum.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect any order you have already placed.

Who we share your data with

We share the minimum personal data necessary with the service providers who help us operate, each acting under its own privacy and security obligations: our payment processor (to take payment securely), our email provider (to send order confirmations and, where you have consented, waitlist updates), and our fulfilment partner (to pick, pack, and ship your order). These providers process your data only on our instructions and only for the purposes described here.

Some of these providers, including our fulfilment partner, may process your data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent contractual protections.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. Essential cookies are always on. Beyond those, analytics and marketing cookies are set when you visit so we can understand our audience and how our advertising performs; a short notice tells you this on your first visit, and you can opt out at any time. We group them as follows:

Essential — necessary for the site to function, for example maintaining the contents of your bag between pages and keeping checkout secure. These are always on and do not require consent.

Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate and with your IP address anonymised, how our world is discovered and used. This helps us improve the shop. You can opt out at any time.

Marketing — we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel so that the people most likely to love Aureum are the ones who find it, and to measure the performance of our advertising. This may involve sharing limited data with Meta. You can opt out at any time.

You can decline analytics and marketing cookies, or change your choice at any time, from the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page. If you decline, we stop setting those cookies on your subsequent visits.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. You may also request that we restrict or stop processing your data in certain circumstances. To exercise any of these rights, write to concierge@myaureum.com.

If you are dissatisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Retention

We retain order records for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant to your relationship with us. You may request deletion of any data we are not legally required to hold.
